Chief Development Officer

The Chief Development Officer (CDO) is a member of the senior management team and provides professional and strategic fundraising leadership and experience to the organization. The right candidate will create the vision for driving rapid contribution and donor growth, while implementing and overseeing all aspects of Development Functions including Major Gifts, Planned Gifts, Prospect Research, Foundations partnerships, and Corporate Support, and Donor Relations. The CDO supervises specific campaign efforts and serves as a co-leader, with the CEO and management staff, in developing new revenue streams. In addition, the position will serve as team leader for key department functions including: life-sciences industry relations, advancement services, and field operations.  This role develops and implements a long-term strategy for fundraising growth, builds budgets and key performance indicators, and will budget for and meet annual organizational and fundraising goals. Chief Scientific Officer

The Chief Scientific Officer reports to the CEO and is a key member of the management team. The ideal candidate will be an outstanding scientific leader with a passion for neurological, oncological, and/or neuro-oncological research and treatment development who can identify compelling and impactful science that helps drive our brain tumor-related research initiatives forward. The ideal candidate will also be a results-oriented program leader and communicator with research and development experience, preferably with the ability to initiate and carry out research-based partnerships with companies in life sciences and nonprofits. The ideal candidate can represent NBTS while collaborating directly with the medical and research community to further our mission. The candidate must demonstrate teamwork and relationship building within NBTS and externally to engage the research, academic, life-sciences industry, and biotech communities. The CSO will create, verify, and review new research content, generate data and information to be used by NBTS, outline and develop new research-based initiatives, and manage a team to achieve research and development results. Associate Director of Development, Greater NY Region

To enhance the NBTS presence in the Greater NY region, a strategic and creative individual with a background in event management as well demonstrated leadership in creating revenue opportunities is needed to; manage and grow a $150,000 walk in Long Island (Jones Beach) and manage a $230,000 walk in NYC.  In addition, manage a Regional Board, as well as create new revenue streams and or a new signature event for the region. Associate Director of Development, Mid-Atlantic Region (NJ)

To enhance the NBTS presence in the Mid -Atlantic Region, a strategic and creative individual with a background in event management as well demonstrated leadership in creating revenue opportunities is needed to; manage and grow a $150,000 walk in central NJ assist where needed with a $900,000 walk in PA and in addition, help manage a Regional Board, as well as create new revenue streams and or a new signature event for the region.
